Terms
These terms apply when you use Mapnil and the sites it hosts at mapnil.page. We kept them short. By using Mapnil, you agree to them.
Your content is yours
You own what you make on Mapnil: your sites are yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, show it to your visitors, and make backups.
We will never use your content to train AI, and never sell it.
You are responsible for what you publish
Mapnil hosts your site but does not check it beforehand, and is not responsible for what you or other people publish. Only publish things you have the right to publish.
What we take down
We may remove illegal content, and content or accounts that include:
- hate speech, harassment, threats, or incitement to violence against any person or group;
- spam, scams, phishing or malware.
To report a site, write to hello@mapnil.net with its address and what is wrong with it.
The free plan stays free
A free account will stay free for as long as Mapnil exists. If you like Mapnil, we encourage you to become a supporter.
Supporter payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Cancel any time from your account. You keep the Supporter plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your account goes back to free. Your sites and everything you made stay.
- No refunds. Your Supporter plan starts as soon as you pay. When you subscribe, you ask for it to start straight away and accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal, so a period you paid for is not refunded, even if you cancel during it.
- Prices include VAT where it applies. If a price changes, we tell you by email before your next payment, and you can cancel before it applies.
No guarantees on uptime
We do our best to keep Mapnil and your sites online, but networks fail, servers need upgrades, and things break. Mapnil is provided as it is, and we are not responsible if your site is unreachable for a while, or for what that costs you. Keep your own copy: you can export your site at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, and we will tell account holders by email about important changes.
